The Ferris Lowdown: Fall 2019 Week 10


What’s up Bulldogs it’s Amanda and I’m
here to tell you about this week’s spooky events so stay tuned. It’s
Halloween week and we have some very special events you’ll die for. Thursday
stop by the CLACs office and trick or treat yourself in partner with the
lgbtq+ Center for caramel apples and information on how their community
celebrates this holiday. Also on Thursday swing by the tower in the quad from 4:00
to 5:00 p.m. for a Halloween celebration Matt Morsi associate professor of
humanities will play Halloween themed music on the tower SAGC will hand out
candy, Public Safety will provide giveaways and there will be a special
collectible buttons by the history Task Force.
Thursday night come by the Ice Arena for bring your key skate for free hosted by
the Residence Hall Association. Here you can come enjoy a spooky night of laser
tag ice skating food games and giveaways. Come out in your Halloween best and
spend some time with your friends. Friday night is the day of the dead dance in
the University Center so come over at 9 p.m. for some dancing food and a
frightful good time. This weekend is the premiere of the FSU theater production
of 9 to 5 the musical this will be held at Williams Auditorium and tickets are 5
dollars for students 7 for senior citizens and 10 for adults for ticket
purchasing and show times visit ferris.edu/arts. That’s all I have for
