New CMA Website

New CMA Website

Welcome to CMAdocs.org. CMA’s brand-new
website has been designed to provide a thoughtful user experience with easy
navigation and mobile-responsive design. Members and non-members alike will find
lots of exciting improvements. So what’s new with the CMA website? Here’s a look
at some of the most notable features. CMA and the county medical societies now
share a single sign-on. If you’re a CMA member, that means you can log in with your
county website username and password. Your username is usually either your
email address or medical license number. If you don’t know your login credentials,
simply use the retrieval forms to obtain them. Remember, any changes you make to
username and password on the CMA website apply to your login credentials on the
county website and vice versa. My CMA is an interactive new feature of the
site that helps members stay up-to-date on topics they care most about. Fill out
your CMA profile and you’ll soon find customized news and alerts displayed in
your membership dashboard. To update your content preferences, simply click on the
“My Account” tab and select “Update My Interests.” Check off all the areas of
interest you’d like to receive notifications for, and they’ll be
displayed on your dashboard when related content is published. From the latest health
care news to events and policy updates, My CMA is your one-stop shop for
personalized content and alerts. The Grassroots Action Center is the new
hub for all of CMA’s advocacy efforts. CMA has made participation in advocacy
campaign easy. To get started, simply click on an active campaign page and fill out
a short form. With just a few clicks, you can contact legislators via email, phone or
social media. When you return to this page in the future, most of the fields
will be pre-populated. While you’re here, be sure to join our Physician Advocate
program to receive advocacy training and grassroots alerts. CMA members can help shape policy
year-round by submitting and commenting on resolutions. Simply navigate to the
Resolutions page under the “Take Action” tab, and look for open resolutions accepting
testimony. Once you’ve selected a resolution to comment on, scroll to the
bottom of the page and fill out the brief form. To submit resolutions for
consideration, simply navigate back to the resolutions
page and click on the gray button on the right-hand column. If you need help filling
out the form, simply download the rules and guidelines on the right-hand column
of the submission page. Interested in getting involved beyond
resolutions? You can visit our Nominations page, where we post leadership
opportunities and other ways for members to get involved. Nominate yourself or a
colleague to serve on a committee, receive an award or connect with your peers in your
mode of practice. You can nominate yourself and others for up to three committees at a time.
The whole process is now online, so members no longer have to submit paper
applications. Nominations are tracked in the My CMA dashboard in the “My Account” tab. Stay up-to-date on the latest health care
news in CMA’s revamped newsroom. This is where all CMA’s various newsletter
articles are published. Members and non-members alike can subscribe to
news updates on the subscription page. Get real-time updates on health care
legislation through the Legislative Hot List. Celebrate your colleagues or share
your own inspirational stories for a chance to be profiled in #CMADocs.
Members who are interested in sharing their expertise via editorials or media
interviews are encouraged to join our Social Media Ambassador program or
become media surrogates. We’ll provide all the training you need to advocate
for your profession through media engagement. CMAdocs.org is now mobile
responsive, giving you the same seamless experience whether you’re accessing the
site on your tablet or your smartphone. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Try
our new and improved website search. It’s designed to search web pages and
documents alike, ensuring users get the most accurate and complete results. We hope you enjoy using the new CMA website
