How to Create an Event Google Calendar 1

How to create an event in Google Calendar. Let’s create an event in Google Calendar. You’ll see on the top right-hand corner of the screen, there is a month with an arrow, and that allows you
to change the view of your calendar from a monthly view, to daily ,weekly, and so on
and so forth. I’m going to continue with the monthly view, and I’m going to add an
event on August 17th of 2020. I just need to click on the 17th and that will populate a box for me to enter my event. I’m going to choose chemistry 101
because that’s the class that I would like to add to my schedule, and I’m going
to select “More Options” so that I can include the details about the course and
set up a recurring event. This event is not all day so I’m going to deselect the
“All Day” box and choose the time for the course which is 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Because this course does repeat I’m going to change this setting to create a
customized event. Under “custom” I can choose to repeat this course on Mondays
Wednesdays and Fridays, since it’s a lecture that meets three times a week.
I’m going to run the course on my calendar from the date I’ve initially
entered, August 17th, and select to have it end at the end of the semester, which
will be December 18th. Once I select “Done,” it’ll take me back to the rest of the
event details. You’ll notice there’s an option to add a color for the event. I’m going to leave this grape or purple, and any other events that I enter for
chemistry will be the same color. I also plan to add my other classes to my
schedule, and each course will have its own color. Once I save the event it’s
automatically populated on my monthly calendar and is populated throughout the
rest of the semester, ending on December 18th.
