Joe Isaacson: If a patient presents the office
with a cracked tooth, the first option probably would be to crown the tooth. But if it continues to be sensitive, then
the patient is going to be directed to have a root canal done to that tooth. If there is decay, then we’re going to remove
the decay. As long as the patient doesn’t have sensitivity,
then we’ll restore it with either a filling or a crown, so that the tooth doesn’t break,
or they break the tooth and they lose it.
