Hello my name is George Bentinck and I am a Sales Engineer with Meraki. Today I am going to show you how to do
something really quick and simple using the Meraki technology. What I am going to do is show
you how to setup your first management account, that is the dashboard account. I am going to show you
how to add some access points and some licenses. And I am going to show you how to get that up and running as quickly as possible. I am going to trying and do all of this in about a minute. So let’s get to it! First of all go to dashboard.meraki.com and click create an account. On the next page you can begin your account creation.
Fill in your e-mail address followed by your name. Create a nice strong password that will protect your account. Then fill in your company details and address. Once you have done that, click create account. On the next page we can create our first
network, so lets give it a name. We can then enter a Meraki order number, the serial number of a device or the serial number of a number of devices. If you enter the order number this will allow you to
add all the access points from that order and the license keys for that order in one go. This speeds up the process of creating a large network dramatically. If we don’t want to add all the access points in one go, we
can choose the ones we want to add to this particular network in this screen. Once we have done this click create network. And there we go in just over a minute we have created a network. So there we go, we created our first Meraki account. We created
our first network, added some access points and some licences and we did all of that in just over a
minute. Next time I will show you something else.
