CALVIN GOES TO THE DENTIST AGAIN! Is It GOOD Or BAD?! – Ellie And Jared

CALVIN GOES TO THE DENTIST AGAIN! Is It GOOD Or BAD?! – Ellie And Jared

(upbeat music) – Three plus three is five plus one! – [Ellie] It all equals what? Remember you figured it out? – And my name is Calvin. – [Ellie] What’s 3 + 3? And your name’s Calivn? (laughs) – & I’m three! – Three plus three is six. – [Ellie] Yeah! What’s five plus one? – Six – [Ellie] It’s six! You are doing math all on your own! You are doing so good! And Calvin’s name is Calvin
and he’s three…so cute. Um, I’m sitting here making
muffins with the kids, and Jackson is counting
and he’s like what is three plus three? And I said we’ll count…six! And then a minute later he
goes “(gasps) five plus one is six!” And he figured out
and I am so proud of you. Do you like to learn? You are my best learner! You’re my best eater! – [Jackson] Am I um, am I this um many? – [Ellie] Yep! And you are… four! – But I’m more than Calvin, see? – [Ellie] Yeah you’re older. – (mumbling) stand up – [Ellie] Whoa… – See I’m taller than Calvin. – [Ellie] Yeah you’re taller. Good morning guys! – [Jackson] But you’re even taller. – [Ellie] Was I even filming!? (slowed down and repeated
speech “Was I even filming?”) (soft upbeat music) – [Ellie] Good morning fall. Good morning Penny! You’re still dirty as can be. (laughs) Still want to jump it
on the bed with Tommy. Oh he’s awake… You woke up? Good morning! Good morning, Boo, happy fall! Jared is going to call and
see if we can get Penny in to get cleaned today. It’s crazy I want to bathe her and clean her, but it’s
like, what’s your priority? I have like five things
on my list that I need to get done today. And Penny you are my
priority, but if I can have someone else clean you,
that would be amazing. So I think I can have Penny
go to the groomers today. While I take the kids to the dentist, and knock out a bunch of stuff on my list. I love Fall because… not
that it gives me an excuse to cook more, but just, it’s
just cozier and it’s fun. And, I’m going to cook
some cinnamon rolls, and I think even some homemade lasagna, like I just wanna cook
a good, hearty, meal and dessert today. K, I’m taking the kids, bye. Jackson and Calvin we’ve gotta go! (boy exclaims happily) Ready to go? Calvin, I got to get pants on you. K, your job – put you coat
on, put your boots on. Your rain boots. (soft music) – [Ellie] Hurry, hurry, hurry! Hurry Jack, run! (breathes sigh) We made it Cal! – [Calvin] Touch my hair! – [Ellie] Touch your hair, whoa it’s wet! – [Calvin] The rain did it! – What did we find? Tell
our friends what we found. – Halloween, Halloween rings! – K, we found Halloween rings. – I want a green one! – A green spider one! – Let’s… we have to
guess how many’s in them, Don’t open them. We guess how many’s in them
and we put it in the box. So should we ask them for
paper to put our name on it? We can’t get one but we gotta guess and we might be winning them. So, how many do you think are in here? – I think a hundred. – Okay Calvin, how many
do you think are in here? – Uh, wait, uh five! – Five? Six – Yeah six. – So Jackson right here… – Calvin you think six are in there? – [Calvin] But there’s a lot more. – Here we go, put it in there. – [Ellie] Calvin are you excited? – Yeah – [Ellie] Are you gonna do good today? – (mumbles)… my teeth? – [Ellie] Yeah they will brush your teeth. – They won’t poke my teeth? – [Ellie] They won’t poke your teeth. – Okay – [Ellie] (chuckles softly) – [Dental Hygienist] K buddy
we are going to brush on the bottom now. Can you say “ahhh”? – [Ellie] Good job! – [Dentil Hygienist] Yeah! – [Ellie] He’s just happy to be watching the movie. (laughs) – [Dental Hygienist]
Ohhh it’s so ticklish! Can I tickle your hand? Tickle, tickle, tickle! Oh, is that so ticklish?! – Yeah – [Ellie] Look, Jackson’s
getting his teeth brushed too! Can you get yours brushed too? Yeah? – What’s this? – [Dental Hygienist] This is my tray. It’s going to help me show this next toy. – What’s this? – [Dental Hygienist] That
one’s an air one like (imitating swooshing sound with mouth) When it gets really hot I
can blow some air on ya. – [Ellie] (exclaiming) What?! (laughing) – [Dental Hygienist] Want
to squirt the water Dude? – [Ellie] Squirt the water! – [Dental Hygienist] Wanna squirt it? Push that button… Woo! Good Job! That is so good! – [Ellie] He’s more timid huh? (laughter) – [Dental Hygienist] Yeah Good job! (water spraying) Good job! You’re doing so good! – [Ellie] Hotel Transylvania? – Yeah – [Dental Hygienist] Yeah? – [Ellie] Cool – [Dental Hygienist] Perfect. K, we put those headphones
on ya and I will turn your movie on, okay? – [Ellie] What is this? (light upbeat music) – [Ellie] Jackson, what’s
the first thing you saw when you came in? They have quarter machines here. Jackson walked in and he
goes “Mom I have quarters!” You’ve been carrying quarters
around with you for weeks, and you saw the machines! I’m so excited for you! He was so excited! They were like both
screaming and so excited. Calvin did pretty good. Last time I wasn’t here for
his dentist appointment. I’m pretty sure I was pregnant, and either sick or really
tired or something. Jared had brought them and
I think he had a hard time, if I remember right. But he did super good today so… They are getting ready for Halloween too! Just like us! The dentist is going to
double check Calvin’s teeth in the little room. Because he was kind of
fidgety, and I don’t know, they just said he’s going to
do it in this room so I assume it’s cause he was a
little fidgety in there, a little worried, in case he’s loud? I don’t know… (laughs) …why they have us in here, but, the dentist is going to come in and finish checking Calvin. And, it’s just crazy how
fast time goes by, guys. We had Jackson here getting
his first dentist appointment a few years ago and the dentist was singing like a church song to Jackson. Because that’s what would
like calm Jackson down. And now Jackson is dang
near almost 5 years old, and is like happy as a clam out there, watching a show getting
his teeth finished up. And so, it’s just crazy. Like, time goes by so fast. And my dad, like, my mom and dad have inspired me a lot lately. My dad’s just like “you
just gotta enjoy your time, you gotta enjoy your time”. And everyone says that… but do we truly enjoy our time? And it’s really hard sometimes when you’re in seasons of
life that’s really hard… (laughs) To enjoy all of the time, but I’m trying my hardest to just really enjoy these little kids! I just love you so much! And I just gotta enjoy them so much. – [Calvin] We have this! – [Mother] We do have that! I cannot believe you remember! We put it away. It’s downstairs. – [Calvin] Yeah – [Ellie] For when Tommy’s
ready to play with it. We should bring it out. – [Calvin] Yeah – Anyway, what I’m trying to say is… I’m trying my hardest to enjoy these, um, long days, long nights, and I just… I love my, I love my kids,
and we’re super grateful. We’re having a super,
just chill day today. Jackson is loving his dentist toy. It’s a football. And YOU are going to shoot me?! Make sure not to hit Tommy! Don’t do it by Tommy! And Calvin’s playing with his toy. And he’s been literately
just been loving on Tommy while I’m making lunch. He is showing him his
black and white book. And he brought up his
doll to put next to Tommy. And he’s just like babysitting… (laughs) He’s literately watching
the baby while I’m cooking. And I just am so in love with you. He loves him! He just like, he swallows
you whole, Tommy. And I’m surprised you don’t cry. Like, Calvin is in his face. Don’t put that in his face. All the… look, he likes it. (laughs) This is him all the time
and he doesn’t cry about it! So, he must love it. He must love the extra snuggles
he gets from his brothers. I like you! I like you so much! – [Woman Recording] Just
make sure you say “soft”. – Soft – …Soft Soft Soft Good girl! – [Woman Recording] Good girl! – Ow! – It didn’t hurt! – [Woman Recording] (laughs) – She was soft. – [Woman Recording] She was so soft. Good girl, Penny. – She’s soft with us, not with the kids. – [Woman Recording] Yeah
well the kids are like… “SOFT” (big voice). In your place. – [Ellie] Place. – [Woman Recording] Good girl. – [Ellie] Excuse me! Pardon me, coming through. K, we’ve got three carts,
we probably have more than we need. The last thing on my list is tomatoes, because I’m making my dad’s lasagna. Oops! Whoa! Yep, and we are learning how
to be super soft and careful. Can you help me grab tomatoes, Jackson? There’s so many different
brands of tomatoes. Does it really matter? Ugh! What I should do is bottle tomatoes, but I missed it this year. My tomato plants didn’t survive
past two-month baby Tommy. I couldn’t feed both of you! – Can we get these for Bingo? – I think that is the
best idea that you have… – I think we should play Bingo – …ever had. – Can we play Bingo today? – For our Halloween, what
we are doing each day before Halloween? – No I wanna do it today. – Yeah today! Cause we are doing something
each day before Halloween! – Mommy get these!!! – K, those are perfect for Bingo. Are you sure that’s the
prize treat we want? – Yes – Yes totally. Throw it in the cart,
we’re going to play Bingo. (soft upbeat music) We are going to play Bingo
before we eat dinner. The lasagna is out of the
oven, I used my Dad’s recipe that’s out of our cookbook
that he used all growing up. – [Jackson] These are the Bingo snack. – [Ellie] And this is our Bingo snack. So while that cools off we
are going to play some Bingo. Hi Jer – Bear! – Hi! Those little uh candy corn
pumpkins, like candy corn, those pumpkins are my, my favorite. – [Ellie] Right!? – Love ’em. – [Ellie] Do you know what’s my favorite? – Huh? – My baby boy – Oh you’re not talking about me?! – [Ellie] K, k, k, k, k, we’re going to play some Bingo then we’re
going to eat some lasagna. And just spend some time with Jared, ’cause he’s been in his office all day. My mom just texted us and
said that her and my dad… Which my mom is a turd. I called her during, while
I was making the lasagna… And I asked her a
question and I could hear her voice was shaky. And she didn’t say anything. An hour later she texts us all. They totaled their car. They got in a bad car accident. They’re okay, but my mom, she said her hip is hurting, and they totaled her car
so I know my mom is tough, but I also know she’s hurting really bad, and is probably masking it. So, all of us kids are
kind of on a group text, chatting and um, anyway, so
they are on my mind right now. (boys yelling happily) So if you could keep
them in your thoughts, that would be wonderful. We’re going to go ahead
and say “Goodnight”. We’re so grateful that we’re
all safe and happy and healthy. Um, and we’ll see you guys tomorrow! Is that okay Jared? – Yeah I think that’s fine. We’ll definitely check on
your parents and make sure everything is going well and… – Do tomorrow? – [Ellie] Tomorrow? – Yeah – [Ellie] I don’t know
what we are doing tomorrow. Let’s play some Bingo. Daddy and I are going to play too, k? I love today, I kind of like didn’t tal- I don’t even know what I vlogged. I think I … I don’t even know. I’m just gonna end it. We’re going to cut all that out. Okay. K, goodbye.
