  1. Basically, this session deals about server cache on firebase functions ?
(caching being mandatory in that case, because amp code has to be transformed in real html)

  2. Really inspiring way of thinking out of the box. I look forward to see how these kind of approaches will change our spas

  3. And I thought I am making my website fast by using firebase functions and amp…
Thanks for showing that there is so much more.

  4. This was my favorite talk at IO this year.

I'm still sorting out how to implement this technique. It's super tricky. But my next app is going to use some version of this.

  5. Great talk. Almost implemented this method for my new app, only trouble is the PURGE function you mention at point 33:19. Is this function still working? You mention it was an experimental feature?

  6. Great talk! Is there an associated blog article or github repo with code samples so I don't have to scrub through the video to pull out the relevant bits?

  7. I wish all this was part of some standard tooling for all static websites. similar to the CLI q&a you fill in when developing a modern web app.

  8. I love how this site is put together!!! Sweet! @Michael Bleigh any updates in 2019 related to fast pages using Firebase and AMP?
